Day 1: Sembalun to Sembalun Crater Rim
– Morning:
– Start the climb from Sembalun (1,156 m) at 8:00 AM.
– Walk for 2 hours to Post 1 (1,300 m), then another 40 minutes to Post 2 (1,500 m).
– Rest for 10-15 minutes, then continue to Post 3 (1,800 m) for a 2-hour lunch break.
– Afternoon:
– Trek to the rim of Sembalun Crater (2,639 m) and set up camp.
– Enjoy the stunning sunset over the crater lake.
Day 2: The Summit and Segara Anak Lake
– Early Morning:
– Wake up at 1:30-2:00 a.m. for a light breakfast before climbing to the summit.
