Before the climb, we’ll pick you up at your destination in Lombok, including Banara Segigigi, Bangas, and Kuta Lombok, and other destinations around Lombok.
Mount Rinjani 4-Day, 3-Night Climb (Sembalun-Torean)
This itinerary offers a diverse experience, from the savannahs of Sembalun to the tropical forests of Torean.
Day 1: Sembalun to Plawangan Sembalun
– Morning:
- Start the climb from Sembalun Lawang (1,156 m) around 9:00 AM.
- Trek through the beautiful savannah to Post 1 (Monitoring).
- Rest at Post 2, eat lunch provided by our guide and porter, and continue the climb to Post 3.
– Afternoon:
- Arrive at Plawangan Sembalun (2,639 m) and set up camp. Our porter has prepared a site and location.
- Enjoy the stunning sunset from the crater rim.
Day 2: Rinjani Summit and Segara Anak Lake
– Early Morning:
- Wake up early (around 2:00 a.m.) to prepare for the summit.
- Begin the climb to Rinjani’s summit (3,726 m) with the necessary equipment.
- Watch the beautiful sunrise from Rinjani’s summit.
– Afternoon:
- Descend back to Plawangan Sembalun for a rest and lunch.
- Continue the trek to Segara Anak Lake (2,000 m).
– Afternoon:
- Arrive at Segara Anak Lake and set up camp near the lake.
- Enjoy the serene atmosphere of the lake and the natural hot springs.
Day 3: Segara Anak Lake and Penimbungan Waterfall
– Morning:
- Enjoy the morning at Segara Anak Lake, fishing or simply relaxing.
- Visit the hot springs around the lake.
– Afternoon:
- Begin the descent towards the Torean trail.
- Enjoy the beautiful view of Penimbungan Waterfall.
– Afternoon:
- Set up camp near Penimbungan Waterfall or at a suitable location along the Torean trail.
Day 4: Torean – Torean Village
– Morning:
- Continue the descent along the Torean trail.
- Passing through dense forest and small rivers.
– Afternoon:
- Arrive at Torean Village (approximately 300 m).
- The hike is complete, you can rest and arrange your next transportation.
Additional Tips:
- Physical Condition: The Sembalun-Torean trail requires stable physical condition.
- Supplies: Make sure to bring sufficient supplies, especially drinking water, and warm clothing such as a jacket and pants, medicine, gloves, and trekking poles.
- Guide: It is highly recommended to use the services of a local organizer or experienced local guide.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Bring back your trash and keep the environment clean.
